I am shocked by the amount of hatred and vitriol that Democrats have for their nominee. Where does this come from? Hillary was the front runner. She had the money, the big donors, the big super delegates, the organization and the name to win it all. It was hers to lose. How can she possibly make herself out to be the victim? If someone asked me whose campaign was more negative and dirtier, I would have to say Clinton’s. I’m sure the vast majority of Americans would agree with me, and you can’t blame all of that on the media. So how is she the victim? The greatest thing about Clinton’s campaign was that she was judged on the merits. She didn’t lose because was a woman. She lost because people didn’t like her. That’s not sexist. I was proud of the fact that she didn’t make her campaign about being a woman. But in blaming her defeat on sexism, she works to erase any strides made by her campaign. Can’t you all see that? And for those of you with so much hatred in your heart for the candidate, perhaps you should take a good long look at the real basis for that anger. Hillary wasn’t victimized; nothing was stolen from her. Perhaps it’s something else about Obama that makes you feel so threatened.

I’m not sure how anyone can infer that I hate women from my post. That’s just….silly. The problem is that Hillary legitamizes that kind of thinking when she blames her defeat on sexism. Her comment of “18 million breaks in the glass ceiling” is absurd. Those 18 million people voted for her not because she is a woman, but because they thought she was the best candidate. That’s an amazing testament to the strides women have made in this country. She lost because more people thought the other candidate was better; end of story. There is no glass ceiling.
There’s something else going on here to cause all of this anger. Anyone have any other ideas?

Hillary didn’t blame her defeat on anything… she won the popular vote and if the DNC hadn’t maneuvered the delegates in FL and MI and given some of her delegates to Obama, she would have had more delegates than him, too.

I am so sick of hearing people who are anti-obama called racists, when every black person I know will vote for Obama just because he’s black. I don’t vote down racial lines, but, I live in a 70% black city, and my personal experience is that blacks will always vote for blacks, regardless of whether they are qualified, only for the reason that they are black. Bill Clinton did more than any of the other presidents in the past 30 years to help minorities and low income people, yet now all I hear are insults hurled in his direction simply because he’s white. Rwanda? What the hell do we have to do with any of the shit that happens there? What about Croatia, Georgia, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Uganda, the Congo, Azerbijan, Albania, Burma, India, Zimbabwe, Cuba..Hell even mexico where americans are kidnapped and killed daily, Liberia where they are praticing cannibalism? Millions of people on this earth are killed by dictators and “rebel” groups every day, children are kidnapped to be used as soldiers and sex slaves. How dare you BLAME our government for the actions of the africans who killed their own kind with machetes? We cannot control the entire world, but, I can see from your narrow minded view that you think we should only help control what happens to the blacks of other countries, even if their troubles are internally created. Why should we intervene in one country but not the others? What makes Rwanda so special. Slavery exists in profound numbers TODAY through africa, india, southeast asia…what’s being done about that? And furthermore, what do you think should be done about it? We are not our brother’s keeper. I see people like you every day who blame everybody else on all the ills of the world EXCEPT THE PEOPLE who committed the atrocities! It’s not Bill Clinton’s fault what happened in Rwanda, it’s the fault of the people who did the deed.
I think we should stop with the helping of all these countries and their stupid wars. That money should be spent PROTECTING our borders from criminal illegals and for education and healthcare costs here in america. Let the rest of the world sleep in the bed it made.
