If Obama’s camp is trying to get the women’s vote, they better tell their minions to stop with the insulting remarks. This was in a Yahoo article this morning that was telling about holdouts who won’t support Obama, both voters and politicians.
Rahm’s remark is particularly annoying to those of us who wish we could knit, but no matter how long we’ve tried, haven’t got the gene. Maybe Rahm will find himself sitting at home after the next election cycle. Then he can learn to knit.
Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, a Democratic House leader who helped orchestrate the party’s strategy for winning control of Congress in 2006, argues against reading too much into the holdouts. He said most of them always stay out of national politics and that the party is generally unified around Obama.
“They’re just going to stick to their knitting,” he said. “It’s not that they’re anti-Obama.”
Oh, and Rahm… it IS that we’re anti-Obama!!!!

What a sexist remark! I can’t believe someone who is obviously intelligent and well educated will make such a dumb explanation.
