There’s a new, very left-wing, liberal group who has decided now is the time to take over the party of FDR, Kennedy, LBJ, Carter and Clinton. Who knows what they want, but it isn’t a good sign that they picked a lacklustre man like Obama to front them. The first guy they picked to run was Governor Blagojevich but he got bogged down by corruption charges in the Rezko trial. Obama was second on their list… at least Blago was a governor… Obama has absolutely no track record at all. But why does he need one when he has the ability to buy up all the Democrats (and their votes)… aided and abetted by people like Donna Brazile. F*ck the people!
They knew they had only to say the right words to get most of the black people in the US to vote for Mr. Lacklustre… and sure enough, Brazile and her team did a good job of that. Code words in speeches and calling one of our best presidents as well as our first woman vp candidate racist got Obie a long way. Doing a little pushing, bullying and shouting in the caucuses – before anyone realized what was going on, did the rest. The New Democratic Party’s candidate was ahead… then a little shuffling by giving him 59 delegates he didn’t earn in MI along with 4 of Hillary’s put the cap on it. And everyone wonders why people are so angry at this cardboard cutout of a man they’re being asked to vote for.
Well, he may get the black vote, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to get much else. Not that the New Democratic Party cares… now that they’re in control… and that’s what they wanted, was to be in control of the Party. It doesn’t look like they care about winning this election. F*ck the people… I don’t think I can emphasize that enough because that’s the New Democratic Party’s attitude.
That’s why it’s urgent that anyone who thinks they are voting Democratic in this election realize that there is no Democratic Party as they knew it in the past… those wimps got thrown under the bus… along with Obama’s grandma, his mother, his ‘uncle’ Wright, Rev Pfleger, the new preacher at Trinity and all the folks who attend there. You can bet that black people will be next. Bigger fish to fry for the neo-liberals.
Time for someone to give us a third-party for the next election… 18 million women will join up right away for anyone that knows how to set one up! And I have a feeling that once black people find out what they got shucked into voting for, they’ll be right there too.

A question was just posed (on the Hillary board) at to the overall purpose of PUMA.
Wanting to share it with you and open it up for discussion, this is my take:
I would contend that PUMA — for at least June through November — exists primarly to prevent Barack Obama from winning the White House in 2008.
After November — given a McCain victory — I would contend that PUMA would strive to reform and rebuild the Democratic Party to be the party that America had *thought* it was voting into power in 2006.
Or — given an Obama victory — I would contend that PUMA would strive to become a 3rd Party that would draw in Centrists, Moderates, Independents, Conservative Democrats, and Liberal Republicans… with Election Reform at the top of its platform.

The Clintons have done more for women and children in their years of service to their country than “Mr. Scared-to-show-anybody-his-birth-certificate” ever has. He had the opportunity in Chicago… instead he elected to give contracts to Rezko and leave the people in down-trodden neighborhoods with cheap, shoddy apartments and no heat.

I too do not understand how Clinton can be muscled into compaining for Obama. If all the information I read on-line about Obama is true, how could the democratic party select….not nominate but select him?
If it is because of her debt, then let us put our money where our mouth is….to help her pay it off. Hell, I wouldn’t even want her to be VP to someone she is better qualified than!!!!

The DNC is run by George Sorros and his Nazi cronies.
The primary votes were STOLEN from Hillary – my vote here in Florida was not counted.
The liberal media which is controlled by the likes of Sorros,Ted Turner and G.E.(NBC), who all plotted against Hillary and distorted their coverage of the primary to suit their agenda. Obama was thrown candy ass questions while Hillary was portrayed as a bitch who was entitled to the primary ( as spoken by Rev. Phlager).
Obama is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Just look at his words..”they cling to their guns and religion” and Michelle Obama’s words ” for the first time in my adult life I’m really glad to be an American”. Are these words spoken of by someone who has those Kanas values he so loves to tell us about now. No, they are the words which
reflect sitting in Rev. Wright’s church for 20 YEARS. The one thing that I will give him he’s a good BS artist. He has no experience and if elected you better hold onto your wallets and never sell your house or cash in your 401K because he’s planning on hiking the capital gains tax to 50%. There goes all our equity that we count on when we sell our homes at retirement!
As for me and my family we are voting for McCain. Then in 2012 we are going to finally put Hillary in the house she earned!

Hi I am new to this site. Thanks for being here. I just finished watching day one. Found it interesting caroline kennedy interviewed by CNN would not comment about vetting Senator Clinton, and also the lacking coverage of the protests outside. The media is still biased against Senator Clinton, and I believe the DNC is controlling it. Where is the coverage going to be on the rules committees and others going to be. The DNC now is conveniently too late allowing FL/MI delegates full votes. What BULL! I want to see these committees and the roll call vote and any assistance would be great.

I am sitting out this election too. I feel that the election was stolen from Hillary by the media who has always hated the Clintons and many high ranking democratic officials. I have felt slighted many times by the democratic party as a woman and this was the last straw. I disagree with most people on this site about Obama though. If Hillary had never run I would have gladly voted for him. I was very inspired by many of his speeches and feel that if nothing else he is a far better choice than any republican. That is why I feel such sorrow at having to sit this election out. I feel very strongly that the only way I can effectively send a message to the unprofessional and immoral and very biased press is to stop watching their programs and to withdrawl my 20 plus years of loyal support to the democratic party. I will be shopping around for a new party to support next election. It will never be the republicans though.
